Introduction to the Division

Infrastructure 

We are good at getting things done and our Infrastructure team applies this mentality to ensure we have the right tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.

We’re looking for forward-thinking people to come on board and join us within Technical & Compliance, Finance, IT, Training, Human Resources, Business Development/Marketing, Legal, and Administration.

These teams play a key role in the success of the firm as they shape the way we operate. By joining one of these teams, you’ll influence the future of PKF, while enjoying the support, training and opportunities you need to succeed both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities

Within our Infrastructure Team sits our Business Development [BD] department. BD sits at the centre of the firm’s relationship management programme, ensures partners actively develop relationships with prospective clients and key advisers, and drives best practice tender processes. BD also leads our client listening programme.

You will be supporting our BD Senior Executive and BD Director with executing and implementing BD activities. You will have the opportunity to work across our business, with a particular focus on our Business Services and Financial Services teams.   

Duties & Responsibilities
•    Invest time to continually develop a detailed understanding the firm, its clients and markets, including industry developments.
•    Conduct thorough research to understand the firm’s target markets and the businesses within it. 
•    Keep track of new opportunities, providing background information on the business.
•    Create credentials documents, team sheets and other collateral to support external conversations.
•    Support coordination and monitoring of the firm’s opportunity pipeline activity, playing a proactive role in encouraging Partners to cultivate relationships through action-oriented BD and marketing plans.
•    Maintain data and information relating to BD activity in the firm’s CRM system.
•    Generate reports on BD activity.

 

Person Specification

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

With experience of working in a professional services firm in a business development or client relationship management role, you will have:

  • excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • a good understanding of client needs
  • a proactive approach to contributing to growth
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of supporting projects and multiple relationships, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

Additionally you will have:

  • Strong written English language skills, and an ability to write clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with using CRM systems and InDesign would be advantageous.
